It was on a trip to New Zealand where I first felt like I was home. Needless to say, I left a piece of me in New Zealand, and after researching why I had such a strong emotional and, what felt like a magnetic pull, I learned why. Astrocartography. Which is the study of using your birth date, time, & location to determine alignment of the planets, sun, and moon to identify how different geographical locations influence your life.

Inspired by the intersections of the stars and the places we call home, this suncatcher is a delicate nod to astrocartography.
